Multi-City Studio Design & Operations
As Studio Manager and Senior Technical Producer at WebMD/Medscape Education, I built and operated a broadcast-quality studio infrastructure from the ground up, managing equipment budgets ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 and designing workflows and field producer guides that kept productions running seamlessly at scale. I directed and supported over 1,500 programs annually, overseeing everything from setup and rehearsals through live operation and post-production asset delivery. Among my most notable achievements was producing the award-winning daily video series Coronavirus in Context*, which delivered expert-driven, evidence-based health content to a national audience during one of the most critical moments in modern public health.
Conference Studio Operations — 4 Years, 3 Continents
For four years, I led the full execution of all U.S. and international medical conferences for Medscape Education, managing approximately eight major events annually across cities including Orlando, Chicago, Paris, Berlin, and Barcelona. At each conference, I was responsible for the end-to-end buildout of two on-site studio spaces on the exhibit floor — fully equipped with state-of-the-art production equipment, dedicated green rooms, and private conference rooms to support internal stakeholder meetings. Each studio was configured for high-volume content creation, consistently producing 20 to 40 sessions daily. Beyond the physical buildout, I served as the operational backbone of these events, ensuring every production ran seamlessly from load-in to wrap.
